Science & Technology in Our World
Children enter school having learned a great deal about their world through play and exploration. Through play, they display many of the traits of good scientists as they observe, question, test, construct and create. Lynn-Rose Heights believes that the Science/Technology experience should continue to build on a child's curiosity.
One of our main goals as educators is to ensure that our students become scientifically literate adults. Our program achieves this by providing meaningful content in a balanced program that links the main areas of:
 Science/Technology
 Inquiry-Life Technology
 Earth and Space Science/Technology
 Physical Science/Technology
Our program uses a framework of concepts, such as "Patterns and Cycles" and "Systems and Interactions" that enable our students to understand how scientific information is interconnected. Concepts from the different fields of Science/Technology become useful when students see how the parts come together in the world around them.
