In September 1997, Tara Bullock and Marie Attard opened Lynn-Rose Heights Private School as an extension of the academic program being offered at their Play and Learn Children's Centres. As more and more parents put the education of their children to the forefront of their financial priorities, Lynn-Rose Heights provides the stimulating environment where children can enjoy achieving academic success.
Marie Attard and Tara Bullock each have more than a decade of experience in child care programming. Their nurturing philosophies in the Play and Learn Children's Centre were so well-received and successful that parents were urging the two devoted women to develop their philosophies into quality curriculum for a grade school level.
The Lynn-Rose Heights curriculum offers a challenging educational program for students up to grade eight. The curriculum is based on standards set by the Ontario Ministry of Education for all schools in the province.
Play and Learn Children's Centre has been providing quality programs for children of all ages to the community of Meadowvale since 1987. We have ensured that the children are cared for in a safe, happy and fun environment, with consistent positive reinforcement. The children enjoy special events, field trips, and interactive cognitive activities. Our specialized programming is directed towards the individual needs of each child and proves to be an alternative to Montessori.
We are licensed by the Ministry of Community and Social Services and follow the Day Nurseries Act. Our facility is approved by the Regional Municipality of Peel to accept subsidized spaces. We are subject to periodic fire and health inspections conducted by the Regional Departments of Peel.
