Music at Lynn-Rose Heights Private School

Music and musical expression is an integral part of the Lynn-Rose curriculum. Emphasis is placed on movement, rhythm, listening, singing and most importantly enjoyment. At grade four, students are introduced to the recorder and taught both practice and theory. Grade six students are introduced to the violin. Grades seven and eight will become acquainted with keyboarding and advanced musical theory. Your child will have the opportunity to participate in the school's Holiday and Spring Concerts.

Children are taught right brain activities to develop their artistic and creative flair.  

Creative Art is one such expression where the children can draw, paint, colour or make items which involve colours and pictures. Private piano and vocal lessons are also available to interested students. This is a fun and constructive activity where playing as you learn is truly epitomized.
